It’s 1986: Thatcher’s Britain, jobs and hope are scarce but the party must go on - sound familiar?

On the 35th anniversary of Jim Cartwright’s joyous and anarchic masterpiece, the residents of Road are relocated to the North East. We meet them as they prepare to head out for a much needed night on the tiles.

Protest, poetry, lust and grit. A vibrant, funny and moving show celebrating community and the incredible resilience of the human spirit. This dynamic portrait of working class life shows us the moments of extraordinary in the ordinary.

Join us for a wild night, dance under the glitter ball but don’t spill your chips in the gutter.

Housewarming  is supported by  the Weston Culture Fund.
