Northern Stage are seeking two Young Trustees, aged between 18 and 25, to join our Board of Trustees

Northern Stage is a UK company, limited by guarantee, and is registered as a charity with the Charity Commission.  This means that all the income made by Northern Stage is reinvested back into our charitable activity.

The organisation is governed by a voluntary Board of Trustees – similar to a company’s Board of Directors.  The Trustees are responsible for agreeing the strategic direction of Northern Stage and ensuring that our charitable work follows good practice.  The Board also acts as advocates for our mission: Theatre from the North East, Theatre for Everyone.

If you might be interested in becoming a young trustee, we invite you to come along to an informal session on Wednesday 20 March 2019, 5pm-7pm

You will find out more about what’s involved in being a trustee, and meet some of our current Board Members and staff.

If you are interested but unable to attend, don’t worry – please email Philippa McArdle, [email protected], and she will be happy to arrange an informal chat with a Board member at a suitable time.
