What's On Slate is Curious: Panel Discussion A discussion on the issues faced by queer, Black artists based in northern England. Slate in partnership with Curious Arts Book Now Access Afshan D’souza-Lodhi chairs a discussion on the issues faced by queer, Black artists based in northern England. Amongst other things the panel will discuss taking work with a strong cultural identity to a wider audience without diluting its integrity. Panellists include: Cheryl Martin and Darren Pritchard. About Slate Slate is an Eclipse movement that will support thousands of Black* Independent Artists in the north of England by increasing access to local, national and international networks. Developed and delivered by the Black arts sector in the North, Slate is funded by an Arts Council England Sustained Theatre Award. *To Eclipse, Black includes anyone who is marginalized for their race or ethnicity.
