What's On Mastering Resilience Skills Workshop How to identify and overcome challenges of everyday work and life Tue 1 Oct 2019, one day workshop, 9.30am to 5.00pm How To Book Access We live in an increasingly fast-moving, busy and challenging world and human beings have not physically evolved at a pace to keep up. In the UK each year, there are nearly half a million reported cases of work-related stress, anxiety or depression, with 11.7 million workdays lost as a result. The cost to UK businesses and the economy every year is enormous. In this workshop, you will learn how to manage and reduce the chemicals induced by stress, by putting into practice techniques used by actors for preparation and managing stage fright. The workshop also explores ways to create low stress workplace environments and organisational cultures. By building resilience to the challenges of everyday work and life, we can also boost motivation, creativity and productivity in the workplace.
