Adapted by Lotfi Achour and Anissa Daoud
An Artistes, Producteurs, Associés Production

A Tunisian Macbeth where Shakespeare’s malevolent tyrant and his wife are reincarnated as the equally diabolical modern-day duo, Leïla and Zine Ben Ali.

Combining Shakespeare’s text with film and reportage, this production interrogates the way Arab leaders use, possess and perpetuate power.

Shakespeare’s vision of evil and driving ambition finds new resonance amidst a mafia-like culture.

In Arabic with English surtitles.

Tickets: £24, £19.50, £12.50 (concessions available)
Students/Under 21s £10
