Winner of Northern Stage's 2011 Title Pending award, Kirsty Housley showcases the result of her intensive two week residency in our building.
She stood at the Window is a true story. Its the story of a young woman who has it all.
Everything in Sabrina's world appears to be perfect, from her wonderful husband to the discovery that she is expecting their first child.
But one day, another woman appears at her window, in the snow. As Sabrina tries to discover who the woman is, her notion of reality itself begins to crumble.

Title Pending & Northern Stage
Northern Stage is the largest producing theatre in the North East of England. We produce and tour work nationally, as well as presenting across our three performance spaces. We take our responsibility for nurturing artists very seriously, especially in these uncertain times.
Title Pending is Northern Stage's award for new theatre. The most innovative, thoughful and intriguing proposal for a new piece of theatre receives financial support, a fully supported residency in the theatre, an appropriate mentor from the company and an ongoing commitment to support the future development of the work.
For the last two years, Title Pending has been generously supported by the Northern Rock foundation.
