Mogadishu Educational Offer

The themes explored in Mogadishu and its comments on today’s youth culture are relevant to teenage audiences, teachers and students alike, Mogadishu supports the delivery of key curriculum areas KS4 and above, including Citizenship, Drama, PSHE and Theatre Studies.

Bring your group to see Mogadishu and take advantage of these great offers:

  •  Educational group tickets only £9 each. Every 11th ticket is free.
  •  Instead of tickets we'll send you individual wristbands for the students
  •  Show the wristband at the bar to get a free soft drink
  •  Comlimentary Insights Programme written specifically for students dealing with issues covered in the show. And find out how the young cast got into performing.
  •  Tour of Northern Stage in the afternoon before the show for only £1 a head. With space to each a packed lunch before the performance (subject to availability, please mention this when booking)

               

Post show events

Tuesday 20 March: Live Interactive Workshop
A chance for students to meet the cast and creative team, find out more about the theatre making process and respond to the arguments in the play by participating in a live interactive event designed exclusively for schools and young people. Takes place in the auditorium after the show and using roaming microphones the host will speak to the audience about their decisions creating a discussion/debate. FREE.

Wednesday 21 March: Post Show Discussion
A chance for you and your students to put questions to the cast. Find out that something you've always wanted to know about being a performer, making a show or how the cast approached dealing with the issues in the show. Again this will take place in the auditorium after the show. FREE.
