We’re always looking for more ways to share our resources.  We want to support your work, and we want our building to be full of artists.  After all, that’s what it’s for.  So we’ve made a cunning plan. 

This season, we’ll be offering free last-minute spaces to any individual or group, for the purposes of creative work.  Each Thursday, we’ll look at our diaries for the following week, and offer you use of everything that’s available – from Stage 1 down to our smallest dressing room. 

To be added to the Spare Room mailing list please email Amy Carter ACarter@northernstage.co.uk.  You’ll then receive an email every Thursday with details of what space we have available for the coming week.

Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that we cannot offer technical support, photocopying or any other additional services.
