A Christmas Carol: Meet the Chorus

Simon Cairns
  • Simon is currently studying at Newcastle Performance Academy.  Recent work includes: Officer in Mountain Language (dir. Gary Kitching) and Satan in Dante's Inferno, as part of A Brighter Future (dir. John B. Kirtley), both at the Peter Sarah Theatre.
  • My favourite thing about Christmas is: The inherent decadence of the season.  You're able to spoil yourself!!

Judy Natasha Carr

  • Judy is in her second year studying acting at the Newcastle Performance Academy, Newcastle College.  Her recent credits include playing Violet Beauregarde in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (SPREAD production) and playing a torturer in A Better Future at the Peter Sarah Theatre.
  • My favourite thing about Christmas is: Everything!  The lights, the decorations and spending time with my family.

James Crowther

  • Currently in his last year of a Foundation Degree In Acting course.  James was in the 2003 Peter Pan pantomime at Hull New Theatre and in 2005 toured Germany with a production of Godspell.  Most recently James appeared in A Better Future at the Newcastle Performance Academy, directed by John B Kirtley.  James is sorely looking to fulfill his ambition of a career in the theatre industry.
  • My favourite thing about Christmas is:  Being together as a family and taking away great memories.  The whole idea of such season, snow & lights!!

Adèle Evitt

  • Adèle has performed at Northern Stage in Badenheim 1939 (Second Stride Theatre Co.), From Angelic to Alnwick, Wings of Desire, Home and Son of Man.  Recently she was devisor/actor in The Novocastrian Philosophers' Club at the Lit & Phil in Newcastle.  Her TV credits include Past Crimes, Elizabeth the Virgin Queen and Wire in the Blood.  Radio credits include the role of Catherine Cookson in the documentary Gone But Not Forgotten.
  • My favourite thing about Christmas is: When my family gather from near and far, and the advent service in Durham Cathedral.

Bill Pickard

  • A founder member of the Northern Stage Performance Group, Bill survived The Ballroom of Romance (as Bridie's father) and Wings of Desire, but was throttled by a Roman Soldier in Son of Man.
  • My favourite thing about Christmas is: The anticipation of children, and a family church service.

David Robson

  • David is in the second year of his acting degree at the Newcastle Performing Arts academy.  His credits include Richard III on A Better Future (the Peter Sarah Theatre) and Hedda Gabler, directed by Debbie Little.
  • My favourite thing about Christmas is: Spending time with family and friends.

Tori Sunners

  • Tori is currently studying at Newcastle Performance Academy.  Recent works include Hilda in Second from last in the Sack Race at the Harlequin Theatre, A Better Future at Newcastle Performance Academy, and recent TV appearances in Hollyoaks.
  • My favourite thing about Christmas is: Family traditions and memorys and lots of food.
