The Crick Crack Club
Love and Death: Performance Storytelling
Tales told in Tents: Stories from Central Asia

A storytelling performance for families by Sally Pomme Clayton.

Magic horses and felted tents, warrior girls and dust demons, wish-trees and saints...

Allow Sally Pomme Clayton to take you on a magical storytelling journey through Central Asia.  This poetric performance combines delightful imagery and playful humour as it weaves myths and fairytales with anecdotes of extraordinary travels.

Sally Pomme draws together stories she has heard and stories she has found - bringing their timeless meaning alive to evoke the mountains, the steppe and the nomadic societies where stories are treasured.

"One of the country's most highly regarded storytellers... she awakens the imagination of the audience." The Independent

Suitable for accompanied children 7 years +
