Far From The Madding Crowd
By Thomas Hardy
ETT in a co-production with Exeter Northcott

ETT - responsible for last season’s sell-out Uncle Vanya – vividly brings to life Hardy’s much-loved classic of rivalry, jealousy and obsessive love. When Bathsheba Everdene inherits her property, she finds herself the target of three admirers’ affections, and at the centre of a growing feud destined to end in tragedy.

Embark on a theatrical journey in Hardy country, shot through with powerful storytelling and live folk song, as one young girl is propelled into womanhood by her experiences of love and loss.

"The theatrical event of the year."  The Independent on Uncle Vanya
