Tango Siempre
Tango:Nuevo

Tango Siempre are proud to present their thrilling new music and dance production Tango:Nuevo.

Moving from stunning, virtuoso displays of traditional tango to powerful, groundbreaking contemporary tango music and dance, Tango:Nuevo is an exquisite and breathtaking journey into the heart of Tango Argentino and beyond.

Tango:Nuevo is performed by four leading Latin American tango dancers; Myriam Ojeda Patino, Guillermo Torrens, Kicca Tomassi and Julio Mendez. Previous appearances by the dancers include Madonna’s film Evita, Deborah Bull’s Travels with my Tutu for BBC 2, the Channel 4 film Dance and BBC Strictly Come Dancing.

Live music is performed by Tango Siempre, featuring Ros Stephen (violin), Pete Rosser (accordion), Jonathan Taylor (piano), Richard Pryce (double bass) and Milo Fell (drums/electronics).

Choreography is by Myriam Ojeda Patino (director of Arte Latino Cultural Project) and music is composed and arranged by Tango Siempre.

For more information see www.tangomusic.co.uk or www.myspace.com/tangosiempre.

“…an effortless fusion of Latin Passion and jazz virtuosity” Sunday Times
“…a rich, hot-blooded brew full of passionate melody, punctilious detail and bravura wit… uniquely exciting and beautiful music” - (****) MOJO
