A Christmas Carol

Family

Northern Stage presents a new adaptation of
A Christmas Carol
Adapted by Stephen Sharkey from the novella by Charles Dickens

Directed by Erica Whyman
Designed by Neil Murray
Lighting Design by Charles Balfour
Musical Composition by Olly Fox
Choreograpy by Nick Whitehouse

This December, the most famous Christmas ghost story comes to Stage 1.

Ebenezer Scrooge is the meanest man in England. Nothing is close to his heart except money. But Ebenezer is about to learn the true spirit of Christmas, in the most terrifying lesson of his life…

Northern Stage brings to life Charles Dickens’ classic in a new adaptation by Stephen Sharkey for all the family. Directed by chief executive Erica Whyman, and designed by Neil Murray (who was responsible for the 2006 lavish production of The Little Prince), A Christmas Carol is a breathless, heart-stopping ride through the darkest night of Ebenezer’s life – and its brightest dawn, on Christmas Day.
