GROUP SALES

 

Welcome to Group Sales at Northern Stage.  Spring 2008 will see us play host to a thrilling season of outstanding theatre and dance by some of the most inspiring, ambitious and provocative theatre-makers from the UK and abroad.


Whatever the size or composition of your group, we are sure that there will be something that will interest you in one of our three stages.  To ensure your booking process is easy we have a dedicated Group Sales Co-ordinator who will help you with group discounts and ensure that everyone has a fantastic time at the theatre.


As a Group you will exclusively benefit from:

  • Longer reservation periods with flexible payment options and convenient payment dates.
  • Group discounts for parties of 10 or more on most productions.
  • School discounts on most productions, with free teacher places (1 teacher free with every 10 pupils over 8 years old, 1 teacher free with every 5 pupils under 8 years old)
  • A member of staff, there to meet and greet you on the day of your chosen performance and show you to your seats.

Group and School Bookings are now being taken for our Christmas 2008 Production of Hansel & Gretel  in Stage 1 and our Under 6s performance in Stage 2.

Northern Stage is an accessible venue, however when booking, please make us aware of any specific access requirements.



Booking Terms:

  • Once your booking has been confirmed, you will be sent an invoice asking for a 25% deposit within 2 weeks to guarantee your booking. After this time your booking will be cancelled.
  • Once a deposit has been received we will send an invoice for the full amount and due date to be paid.
  • If booking is made within 4 weeks of the show you will be asked to pay the full amount no later than 2 weeks prior to the performance.
  • All discounts and promotions are subject to availability.
  • Children / School parties / those in need of special care are the responsibility of their parents / guardians / teachers / carers who must ensure appropriate behaviour is followed in the theatre.
  • Northern Stage operates a No Smoking Policy.
  • You will not be issued tickets for your group booking.  You will be expected to attend and meet as a group in our Foyer area.
Your invoice will show the number of tickets, date and time of your booking, if these details are incorrect you need to let us know within 7 days of the invoice postal date, if you do not contact us regarding any changes we will presume the booking details are correct. After this time by accepting your invoice you have made a legal commitment to pay this invoice.

As some shows are still in rehearsal before they go on sale we can only estimate the running times, so please allow 15 minutes either way. More accurate timings can be requested from the box office when the show has started its run.

In the case of Northern Stage cancelling a performance for reasons beyond our control, you may exchange for another date (where availability permits) or cancel your booking and receive a full refund of any money you have paid.

Changing your booking

If you want to change any details of your booking we will do our best to help but cannot guarantee that changes can be made. We charge an 'amendment fee' on the booking. The amendment fee will be £2.50.

If the change means we must send you new tickets, we cannot give you any refund until we have received all your old tickets.

No changes can be made to any bookings until full payment has been received. If you make a deposit on your booking when booking, you will need to make your final payment prior to making any changes.

Cancelling your Booking

Deposits are non refundable.

Christmas performances:
15 weeks prior to booking date 75% refund
10 weeks prior to booking date 50% refund
5 weeks prior to booking date 25% refund

Other performances:
6 weeks prior to booking date 75% refund
4 weeks prior to booking date 50% refund
2 weeks prior to booking date 25% refund
