BARRAS BRIDGE DEVELOPMENT
An impression of the completed SAS Building as seen from Haymarket
"Situated on Barras Bridge, facing the Civic Centre, the five-storey, glass-fronted building will create a welcoming 'front door' to the University. A visitor centre on the ground floor will provide information and serve as a first point of call for visitors to the campus."

Access
Due to redevelopment work, the steps on King's Walk have closed until September 2009. During this time you can get to us via alternative access routes through Newcastle University campus, including via the entrance on Claremont Road (opposite the Great North Museum: Hancock).
Alternatively, you can follow the pedestrian signage to Northern Stage after crossing Percy street from Haymarket Metro, which will direct you through the campus, past the Herschel Building, to King;s Road. Turning right will bring you to the lawn outside the theatre.
If you have any questions or special requirements during this period please contact us on 0191 230 5151 or email
info@northernstage.co.uk
and we will be delighted to help.
Please visit the
